    Tahara Toshihiko (田原俊彦 1961 February 28 ) is a Japanese singer and actor from Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokosuka City. He and his family moved to Yamanashi Prefecture , Kofu City and grew up there until high school. Attended Kouhu Yamanashi Prefectural Technical High School (Department of Civil Engineering) graduating in October 1993, He is married to model Mukaida Ayako. Height: 175cm, weight 59kg.

    While at Johnny's his nickname was Toshi-Chan. He became independent of Johnny's in 1993 and he is currently with For your Entertainment.

    Who is Tahara Toshihiko?

    Tahara Toshihiko or just Toshi is an artist who debuted in Johnny's in the 1980s and is the same generation as Matchy-san

    History of Tahara Toshihiko

    Tahara Toshihiko was born on February 28th 1961 in Kofu in Yamanashi prefecture. He was primarily raised by his mother due to his father passing away when he was 6, due to diabetes type 1.

    He than entered Johnny's in 1876. At that time he was a high school student and traveled each weekend from Kofu to Tokyo for the dance lessons. In 1978 he starred in his first drama, the drama was named "Tobidase! Panpirorin" and aired on TV Asahi. From there on he got to be in several Jr groups before ein 1979 starring in the drama "3-nen B-gumi Kinpachi Sensei" together with Kondo Masahiko and Nomura Yoshio. The three than also formed the Jr group Tanokin Trio.

    In 1980 he than debuted with the song "Aishuu deito (NEW YORK CITY NIGHTS) which is a cover of Leif Garrett. Right after his debut he than starred in the Fuj
