    Chandrabose was born as Kanukuntla Subhash on 10th May in Warangal, Telangana to K Narsaiah (father) & K Madanamma (mother)

    Chandrabose started his career in singing as a singer on All India Radio & Doordarshan. He later changed his career to writing.

    His career in the films started with the 1994 Telugu movie Joker.

    Chandrabose (born Kanukuntla Subhash)is an Indian lyricist who writes songs for Tollywood films. He was also a playback singer at the start of his motion picture career. He has won a number of awards as best lyricist.

    Biography

    Chandrabose is from the village of Challagariga in Warangal district, in Andhra Pradesh, where he completed high school.[citation needed] He earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Early in his career, he tried working as a singer inDoordarshan, without success. He then decided to switch to working as a lyricist.

    His friend Srinath, who suggested the change, introduced him to the director Muppalaneni Siva.[citation needed] Siva had already directed Gharana Alludu and was starting production on Taj Mahal. Music director M. M. Sreelekha helped him with his first movie song, “Manchu Kondalloni Chandramaa”, in 1995.

    Chandrabose married Suchitra, a choreographer in the Telugu film industry.
